After working at the Academy of Telecommunication Sciences under the Ministry of Telecommunications of the People's Republic of China for nearly a decade, Song continued his professional career as the Vice President of Hong Kong Jiayin Group and Hong Kong Medium Fund Management Company and as the general manager of Jiayin China Investment Company.
Mr. Song graduated from Physics Department of Xiamen University with a specialization in Radio Professional in 1976. He pursued to study Management Science in the Faculty of Law, Université Nice Sophia Antipolis in 1985 and graduated from Université Paris 7 with a Master's Degree.
Mr. Kirsch served as our Chief Executive Officer and a member of our management board from 2008 to March 2016 when he transitioned to Executive Chairman. Mr. Kirsch served as Chief Strategic Officer at AMightyRiver.com, a division of PDN from 2004 to 2008 and from 1996 to 2001 as Chief Executive Officer of eSpecialty Brands a online retail company. Previously, Mr. Kirsch served as Chief Executive Officer at iMaternity.com, the ecommerce partner of iVillage.com from 1983 to 1996 and Manager, Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Dan Howard Industries, a vertically integrated retailer of apparel. He holds a B.S. in Economics and Political Science from University of Arizona.
We believe Mr. Kirsch should serve on the board of directors because of his experience and vision in leading the company since 2008.
Mr. Wang started his professional career in law in 1998 and has since built his footprint in many leading law firms in Beijing, including Beijing Yihe Law Firm and Beijing Jingyuan Law Firm. Mr. Wang served as the managing partner of Beijing Daqian Law Firm from 2008 to 2012. With a passion for nurturing and educating the next generations, Wang served as a part-time professor and master instructor of Political Sciences at China Youth University in 2010. His outstanding achievement in law was recognized by U.S. Embassy in 2007 as a highly recommended Chinese lawyer.
Mr. Wang participated in editing the "People's Republic of China Guide to Company Law" (China Planning Press) in 2005. In 2009, Wang was appointed as a counsel and the supervisor of the Beijing Chaoyang District Association of Foreign Invested Enterprises and later elected as deputy director of the China National Democratic Construction Association Beijing legislative committee in 2012.
Skilled in law, media and business, Ms. Jones is a member of the Board of Directors and President of Professional Diversity Network. A former Senior Assistant District Attorney for the city of New York, Ms. Jones previously served as a Legal Correspondent, Senior Analyst and highly sought after Television Personality for over two decades. From 1997-2006, she was co-host of ABC's hit daytime show The View. For her work in television, Ms. Jones has received nine Emmy nominations. Also an accomplished author, Ms. Jones has written three best-selling books, produced multiple television shows and launched and supported numerous successful businesses. A prolific fundraiser for philanthropic causes, since 2011, Ms. Jones has been the face of the American Heart Association's (AHA) National Go Red efforts as the National Volunteer. Ms. Jones has been a national surrogate for the Democratic Party for every Presidential election since 1996 and frequently lectures on a variety of topics, including law, politics, race, gender equality, networking, women's empowerment, pop culture, fitness and heart health. Ms Jones received her Bachelor of Arts in the Administration of Justice from American University and her Juris Doctorate from the University of Houston.
Gary Xiao serves as Chief Financial Officer of IPDN, Professional Diversity Network, since 2017. Mr. Xiao is an experienced financial leader and business partner who holds an MBA in Corporate Finance and Strategy from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Tsinghua University. He began his career as an auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Beijing and progressed through senior roles at Lenovo Group and United Airlines. From 2008 to 2013, Mr. Xiao held the position of Controller with the Operations Management Group of The Jordan Company, a leading mid-market private equity firm. From 2013 to 2016, he served as Controller, a CFO-level position reporting directly to the CEO, at Petstages, and most recently served as Corporate Controller at United Tactical Systems, a private-equity owned non-lethal weapon and projectile manufacturer.
Chad Hoersten serves as the Chief Technology Officer at the Professional Diversity Network. With more than fifteen years of technology experience and more than a decade experience leading international teams of developers, he has lead the development of Professional Diversity Network's network of websites. He has been with the company since 2004 and prior to that he was a senior software engineer at Rockwell Automation. He has a Bachelors of Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Cincinnati
Joseph Bzdyl, SVP, has been with the company since 2014. A suburban Chicago native, he hold a bachelor's degree from Illinois Wesleyan University where he met his future wife Miranda, learned to cherish critical thinking, and lettered in football for four years. He also holds an MBA specializing in Finance. His professional career began in sales, moved into post-secondary admissions management, transitioned to business analysis, and is now centered in operations, finance, and project management. He and Miranda have three kids, a dog, enjoy camping, live music, craft beer, and spending as much time with friends and family as possible. Joseph currently leads the PDN Recruitment and Noble Voice business divisions.
Amy Yu serves as the Vice President of Professional Diversity Network Inc. since 2017. Ms. Yu received her degree in Computer Engineering and later pursued a Master's degree in Business Administration. “The key to a successful business lies in interpersonal skills,” is the business motto Ms. Yu's firmly believes in. Her first sales job started at the age of 15 for Pepsi, Ms. Yu has since played a key role in successful sales and acquisition of global businesses in the US. When served as the Vice President of a leading agriculture company, Ms. Yu single-handedly established the US headquarter and had lead the research and business development division to reach a combined of 1 billion investment in capital. Ms. Yu also served as the Executive Director of China General Chamber of Commerce, at which she has facilitated City of Chicago to attract more than 3 billion direct investment from China and surrounding areas. Combining her background in Information Technology and 20 years practice of international business, Ms. Yu has established herself as a second-to-none leader of global ecommerce.
